Why should I do your courses, and what will I gain from it?
First Nations Ministry Training courses are designed for first nations people and for anyone who just wants to study God’s Word without the stress of having to leave home, community and family. We can come to where you are.
Most of the units of study are short courses and can be presented in your local church, regional centre or online for those who are tech savvy.
What courses do you offer?
We can also offer tailored training where the need arises.
Where does the training take place?
We take the training to our students. We conduct courses in regional areas, often utilizing Church buildings and Bible college buildings. We can also do online courses.
How much do the courses cost?
All our courses are free.
The only cost associated with studying our courses are:
- Buying the student resources to be used during your studies.
- Food
- Travel if needed
What help do you give to students?
We will work with you to do what it takes to help you through your chosen course of study.
Do I need a high school certificate to do the course?
No
We accept everyone as a student regardless of any previous studies you have or haven’t completed. So if you didn’t complete year 12 or even year 10, you can still study with us.
What level of reading skills do I need to do the course?
FNMT recognizes that through no fault of your own some students may struggle to read. The good news is we can have you sit an oral test, which can be included in your assessment. Your presenters will help you through that process.
